As we approach the Memorial Day weekend, Star Wellness® is proud that we are now members of the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program.
VetFran provides a forum through which franchise companies such as Star Wellness can help military veterans make a smooth transition from military life to the business world.
One way we will be doing that is by offering a discounted franchisee fee to any military veterans who are interested in purchasing a Star Wellness franchise.
There is a proven record that veterans make very good franchisees. The discipline and goal-oriented skills they develop in the military are perfect for becoming successful business men and women.
VetFran was created in the early 1990s as a way to say “thank you” to veterans returning from the first Gulf War. Now one out of seven franchise businesses are owned and operated by military veterans, according to a study conducted by the International
Franchise Association’s Educational Foundation.
Both my father and stepfather served in the Armed Forces, so I feel it is our duty to support the men and women who sacrifice so much for our country. I am convinced that Star Wellness will be a great fit for their experience, and I look forward to what they will bring to our organization.
