Congratulations to all the winners of the Dallas Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers who were recognized at a special awards luncheon on Friday.
And a special congratulations to City of Irving, DFW Airport and the Gaylord Texan, who have utilized the services of Star Wellness.
One fact continually driven home during the awards luncheon was that all of the companies being honored place a heavy emphasis on screening and monitoring of their employees.
The ability to closely track progress enabled these companies to better control, and in some cases, reduce the cost of their health benefits.
During the health fair prior to the luncheon it was also clear that on-site screening and monitoring is now recognized as a critical piece of an organization’s wellness program. Over and over again, those who stopped by our booth told us that their company had just started or was planning to start on-site biometrics and monitoring programs.
Recognition that services provided by companies such as Star Wellness can play an important role in controlling health care costs is a big reason we launched our franchise program earlier this year. The demand is growing and we are now perfectly positioned to meet that demand.
